GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO FAIL

GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO FAIL

Dear Readers,

Today, I stumbled upon a quote that sparked a whirlwind of introspection. This was a direct message to me and It was about giving myself permission to fail at least once a month. Sounds daunting, right? That's because it is.

Ladies and gentlemen, the last couple of weeks have been very painful and overwhelming for me considering that I got really sad rejections from applications I made that I had spent months working on and waiting for. To be honest, I still feel like I’m unable to open any fresh application till further notice, not because I don’t want to but because I just can’t get myself to do that at the moment. . Failure has a peculiar way of unsettling us. It digs deep into our psyche, stirring up emotions we'd rather keep buried. We pour our heart and soul into endeavors, only to face rejection or disappointment. It's no wonder failure feels like an unwelcome guest.

But here's the kicker: Growth sprouts from the seeds of failure. It's the bitter pill we must swallow to savor success. Yet, how do we embrace failure when the mere thought sends shivers down our spine?

The answer lies in reframing our mindset. Instead of viewing failure as a final verdict, see it as a stepping stone. Each stumble is a lesson learned, a pathway to resilience. So, when faced with the daunting prospect of failure, remember this: it's not the end, but a chance for renewal.

Right now, let’s come to an agreement, yes you and I that we will open that application and we will give it our very best shot once again. Remember that at the end of the month, you should be asking yourself if you have failed this month ?? it’s funny right but that way you can be rest assured that you tried at least once that month.

Yes, it's terrifying. Yes, it's uncomfortable. But therein lies the beauty of it all.?

So here's ?? to giving ourselves permission to fail, to stumble, and to rise stronger than before, to embracing failure, not as a foe, but as a friend on the journey of self-discovery. ??
