The best memories of family life seem to all revolve around the dinner table. Do you remember your dinner table conversations?

 I remember one mealtime in particular where both Sophie and Matthew were in a heated discussion of why whenever a famous singer or actor gets in trouble with drugs or doing illegal actions, they seem to always get away with it.

Between bites I watched my then nine year old spout out the wisdom that is so plain to see with fresh eye's. She said without hesitation:

  "The reason he can go free is that he is rich. I want to be rich too"

Coming out of a nine year old it sounds cute, but coming out of your grown up mouth, it sounds cynical. Doesn't it?
