Give up, or GROW up.

Give up, or GROW up.

Life has a way of throwing Googlies ( curveballs) at you.

And when you are in the middle of a tough situation, you may have the temptation to throw in the towel, to give up.

You hear a voice inside you telling us that it's not possible for you to handle the situation.

You may feel overwhelmed with the enormity of the task, the plethora of challenges and want to give up.

For example:

  • Your boss asks you to host the meeting next week and you haven't done it before.
  • A new client asks you to take up an assignment that you know will take more effort than usual.
  • A relationship is under strain and you feel like giving up.

That's when you have to ask yourself, ' Should I Give up, or GROW up?'

Whatever you choose to do, you will reap the results.

Giving up is easy. It's what most people do.

But then, do you want to be Most People?

Or do you want to use this as an opportunity to 'jump through the ring of fire' ?

Take up the opportunity to host the meeting, make the effort for the client, make the effort to save the relationship.

Will it be easy? Hell No!

That's when you GROW UP.

Give up ; or Grow up. It's your choice.

Aweaome and real life,Amruth. The question is how to realise that any more growing up wud be wasted efforts.

Well said Amruth Kumar. However at times I have found that to grow up is sometimas you need to give up.. it could be an assignment that challenges you because you are overqualified, an argument that you know will not lead anywhere even when you know its the right course of action, or just being silent when you want to go to war!!!!!
