Give up and go on?vacation

It would be easier if today of all days, you would give up and go on vacation.

You would follow your heart or that voice in your head.

You would leave the world behind and be a nomad.

Gone with the days and gone with the nights.

Forever lost, wandering and out of sight.

Who knows if you’ll find that someone that you love.

Maybe start a family in some place near Rome.

The days moving slower and the pace not as fast.

The breeze in the wind coming without a clasp.

The whips of the storms, the smell of the ocean sea.

And you and I, we would not know each other, wherever you would be.

So why not give up and go on vacation?

Because there’s something inside you, longing to be created, that you’ve been pushing back, hoping one day you will have the courage to show up and act.

And that the thing you call vacation will be your life.
