The Rainbow Model of Comprehensive care
Embrace, Educate, and Enable the most vulnerable children
RHP, on its mission to create awareness and address vulnerabilities for children, works with various stakeholders, which include the public, state, community systems, donors/ strategic supporters and the Program implements partners under three distinct child-centric caring models:

The Problem Statement: While government and civil societies are doing their share of measures to remove the vulnerabilities of needy children and address the loopholes, the pandemic years have been a significant setback to this slow progress. Covid-19 affected these children directly and indirectly and pushed them back into vulnerable situations.
Sustainability: We strive to scale up the model by advocating comprehensive care and quality standards with concerned government departments and childcare organizations. We work on knowledge development through our Technical Resource Centre and share the same with our home teams, parents and implementing partners to strengthen and sustain the Program. We facilitate our implementing partners to raise 15 to 20 % of the childcare cost, through cash or kind, from the neighbourhood community and civil society. We also forge long-term partnerships with sponsors, philanthropists, and corporates committed to the cause of children.
Support Needed: These care homes need a sustainable form of support from civil society organizations to ensure comprehensive child care continuity. Not only does this ensure the home management of the homes, but it also brings awareness to the minds of the direct stakeholders of the child – the parents/guardians, community members, peers and other people directly engaged in childcare.
