Give Me an Hour of Your Time..
And I’ll show you how to free up at least another 10 hours each week.? Worth the time?
For some of you, the answer will be an undoubted yes.? Some of you won’t have the time or find the time.? Still others may well be sceptical. How can you possibly free up that amount of time each week??
The answer is simple: stop doing what doesn’t serve you.?
You know, the activities you take on because you’re too nice to say no. Women tend to be asked to do more administrative type roles than men. Why? Because we have a habit of agreeing to them.? It’s expected of us.? At best, these activities do little to advance your career or demonstrate your leadership potential and abilities. At worst, they tire you out and hinder your progress.
You can come to resent them. I know I used to say yes to many a request that came my way. And later resented doing it. Doing something you resent, something you don’t enjoy, saps your energy as well as wasting your time.
So why do them? Why devote your time and energy to activities that don’t serve you?? If it’s what you’ve always done, you may feel that changing that habit can be awkward at best, certainly difficult.?
Yet, it needn’t be.? There are simple ways to say no graciously. So if you could say no…
And if you eliminated these time wasters or at least reduced the number of times you agreed to take them on, what extra time would you have for the things that do matter to you? At work. At home. In your community.
That’s what I’d like to explore with you this Thursday. Join me for the Time and Energy Advantage Workshop. Invest less than an hour of your time and discover a few simple, tried and tested strategies for freeing up your time and energy for what most matters to you.?
