Give Examples

A great way of opening up your clients minds to introducing you to others, is by giving them working examples of how you have helped others.

Rather than just asking them the generic " do you know anyone that I could help?" throwaway question, get specific.

. Inform them of how you have helped others save money on their mortgage payments.

. Let them know how a recent client was able to borrow additional funds for home improvements.

. Talk to them about how you have just helped a first time buyer recently complete on their new home purchase.

It's all about painting pictures and getting your clients to consider those people they know who may fit into those explained scenarios.

"David, now that we have completed on your re mortgage,and you have seen the benefits of the service I provide, I wonder if I could ask you to consider which of your work colleagues own their own home and would like to make their mortgage payment as cost effective as possible?"

"Lizzy, now that we have got the mortgage offer on your buy to let property, I just wanted to let you know that I am working with a number of landlords like yourself, all looking to generate future revenue and capital growth. You mentioned a friend at work who is looking at doing something similar to yourself for the first time, could you introduce me to her?"
