GITHUB OFFERS CAMPUS EXPERT PROGRAM FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS APPLY BEFORE 29 FEBRUARY 2024

It is a platform for developers to write, save, organize, and distribute code. It makes use of the Git software, which offers access control, bug tracking, software feature requests, task management, continuous integration, and wikis for each project in addition to the distributed version control of Git. With its headquarters located in California, it joined Microsoft as a subsidiary in 2018. It is commonly used to host open-source software development projects. As of January 2023, it reported having over 100 million developers and more than 372 million repositories, including at least 28 million public repositories. It is the world’s largest source code host as of June 2023.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

·?????? Verify that you are enrolled in classes by using the GitHub Student Developer Pack.

·?????? Hold a formal post-secondary education enrollment.

·?????? Possess over a year remaining in their academic career before graduating.

·?????? Have used GitHub for a minimum of half a year.

·?????? Not be enrolled in the GitHub Campus Advisors Program.

Procedure for Selection

Obtain the Student Developer Pack for GitHub.

You can get over 100 premium developer tools for free with the Student Developer Pack. In order to apply to the program, you must have the Pack.

Complete the application form

To help us learn more about you and your interest in the program, please fill out the application. Applications are open for a month in February and in August. Two weeks after applications close, you’ll be notified of your application status.

Submit a video resume

If your application was successful, you’ll be invited to submit a 5-minute video introducing yourself and your community. Let us know your motivations, community vision, and goals.
