The rapid growth rate of data poses the huge challenge to its interpretation while collected data is from different sources like UAV, Remote Sensing Imageries, Surveying and traditional methods. GIS provides an effective way to interpret geospatial data – to create a meaning out of complex data by making it to valuable information. This workshop introduces the participants to the concepts, scope and applications of GIS in use for multiple disciplines.
