GIS Material Management Warehouse Expansion

GIS is excited to announce the expansion of our Materials Management services with the addition of a new warehouse located in Broussard, LA.

This site will serve to maintain and preserve material purchased, rotating equipment, and as well as store E&I and mechanical piping/structural materials. This new location includes office space for employees and two warehouses with a total of 15,000 sq. feet inside equipped with climate control storage. We also have the resources to provide laydown space with uncovered area outside for storage that is approximately 35,000 sq feet.

GIS will continue to utilize our MODS software capabilities for the tracking of each piece of material within the warehouse in order to help streamline information shared within our system.

Through our partnership with MODS, GIS has the resources to provide software which is a cloud-based solution that integrates with the customers’ existing processes to significantly decrease administrative burdens, reduce costly errors and easily integrates people, processes, and technology regardless of location.
