Girsh Alarm is looking for more “Sammy”s. Sammy is one of our senior Alarm Technicians.

“Sammy” has worked with us as a member of our team since February 2003 – more than 17 years. We love working with him and he loves being part of our company. What do we love about Sammy? Here’s the list. I’ve tweaked only two things because although no one is perfect, Sammy is pretty darn close to perfect for us!

Dependable. Reliable. Always early. Clean and neat. Organized. Truck sparkles inside and out.

Meticulous. Detailed. Careful. Takes his time to make sure he has done a complete, thorough job. Works independently. When needed, takes initiative to call tech support for help. Or other team members. Works really well with other techs and members of our team.

Has no problem going up on a roof, on a ladder, or other high spaces.

Scrupulously honest. We are so very comfortable leaving him alone in our clients’ homes.

Caring. Sweet tempered. Easy to get along with.

Focused.

Knowledgeable about every aspect of the alarm business. Well-trained in the business and able and willing to learn more.

Dedicated. Usually double checks information after he’s gone home to make sure everything is in place for our clients. Confirms that data has been updated. Happily takes after-hours service because he loves helping customers.

Communicates really well with us and with our clients, both in writing and in person. Thoroughly writes up the work he has accomplished, prices out his work (yes, he knows the pricing, too), and makes every attempt to collect payment.

Has developed great relationships with our clients. They request him.

 Loyal to us and our company.

Follows instructions. Able to program equipment. Terrific at trouble shooting a technical problem and solving it. Able to figure out the 3 different ways we can do something (rather than the 10 ways we can’t).

Great family man, with a stable home life including a loving wife, two accomplished, successful sons, and two grandchildren.
