"Gillespie Gold" found home/Invitation
Appreciative of InSight Gallery Fall Showcase. "Gillespie Gold" found a good home! I did get back to my roots on this painting in more ways than one. Absolutely abundant in the Texas Hill Country, whitetail are a favorite and perhaps the first animal I painted. But style wise, I aimed to stay comfortable with the brush and leave the painting airy.
