NRG and Square One Law welcomed 160 of the region’s HR professionals to our ‘What, How, When?’ employment law seminars.
The first of the two day roadshow took us to The Forge in Darlington, part of Teesside University where we partnered with CIPD Tees Valley branch to bring attendees employment law updates on GDPR, Gender Pay Gap, Reasonable Adjustments, Gig Economy and Tribunal Fees. Normally favouring evening sessions, this was the first breakfast event ran by the branch committee and with over 70 in attendance, proved to be a huge success.
Thursday’s seminar was at The Falcons Rugby Club at Kingston Park, Newcastle, and we were joined again by Jean-Pierre van Zyl, Simon Loy, Roisin Patton, Helen Brain and Rebecca Fielding of Square One Law who gave in-depth presentations on upcoming changes in legislation and what businesses needed to consider.
