The Gift of Health
When we pause and consider?all the challenges in our lives that we want to overcome, it's natural?to feel a sense of overwhelm.?? On any given day, we might feel?as though we have hundreds of problems to solve until the day we learn of?a serious threat to our?health. That's when?we suddenly?realize what a gift our solid?health was and how much we took it and our trusty body for granted.
Our focus then quickly shifts to the feeling that?we really only have one true challenge:?restoring our good health and maintaining it. It's rather like when you suddenly lose electrical power in your home and you realize how much you do on a daily basis that relies on an electrical current.
In my work as a habit change and weight loss coach,?I help?clients minimize risks for having?to face a dreaded wake up call with their health.?Instead, we take proactive steps to??push back on the negative forces that?our modern day environment?invite?us to slip into with unhealthy habits.? We reorient daily habits to an?intentionally healthy setting?to minimize?health risks and the result is feeling empowered and energized every day.? We set a new default way of being where self care practices are prioritized?without it?ever feeling selfish. The long game outcome is that we?keep the 'quality in our longevity'.??
Good health rarely just happens; Genetics account?for only 10?to 15% of chronic illnesses according to the World Health Organization.?
No matter your age, you can become the author of your own wellness. Show yourself what you're capable of and give yourself the gift of good health.?Your future healthier self is thanking you already!??
