The Gibberish Machine
This project was created in collaboration with Bartlett School of Architecture Master degree program: Interactive architecture Lab. It was the absolute blast to work together with William Bondin, Francois Mangion, William Victor Camilleri and Christopher Leung. As well as fablabValletta. team which provided it's assistance with fabrication process. Last but not least - the creative young architects which I worked together with - Samuel Bonnelo (Malta) and Madli Kaljuste(Estonia).
‘The Gibberish Machine’, which draws inspiration from the multi-lingual nature of EASA and the lack of a singular official language. The team behind the work started from the question: What can result from the abstraction of language, if meaning is omitted?. The Gibberish Machine is a fabric-clad cube which generates random text in random languages, when prodded. The un-contextual and grammatically incorrect sentences did provide some comic relief.
