Pennsylvania reports sports wagering handle of $934.1m in November 2023

The state of Pennsylvania has revealed its gaming revenue for November 2023. Much like states including Maryland and New York, the Keystone State has shown an overall decrease in revenue while sports wagering handle has been reported at some of its highest recorded in November 2023. Sports wagering handle for November totalled $934.1m, an 18.4% increase from the $789.2m generated this time last year. Read the full story here .

Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies approves bill to regulate online betting

The so-called ‘betting project’ has been approved just before the end of the year, setting the precedent for a regulated online gambling market in 2024. The bill is now being sanctioned by the President. The bill was initially approved in September, but the Chamber of Deputies was required to vote again after facing criticism from the Senate. The Senate voted to exclude iGaming from the bill, but the Chamber ruled to overturn this opposition. Read the full story here .

BetStop releases November’s national self-exclusion register statistics

Betstop, the Australian national self-exclusion register, allows individuals to exclude themselves from all Australian licensed wagering services.
