No Ghosts, No Regrets

If anyone has seen boxes like this you know they represent an opportunity for introspection, sometimes a little sadness, but most importantly a harbinger of professional change.  After almost 9 years with Knight-Swift Transportation I recently decided to resign, along with John Gamero, from the company.   It’s really been an interesting adjustment these last few weeks as I take a step back to analyze the skills I’ve learned, how my life has dramatically changed, and the amazing relationships that I’ve fostered since joining the logistics industry for the first time in 2012. For my KNX teammates, I am absolutely humbled and honored to have partnered with you within the walls of one of America’s largest transportation institutions for so many years. Your heartfelt messages of encouragement and appreciation that came following my official announcement will be treasures that in my lifetime I will not forget.

Now it is on to the next journey and I’m excited to be alongside John who is a great friend, mentor, and someone who has been like a brother to me since we first met on an elementary playground over 30 years ago.  While not all of our steps are completely defined, I know that with our combined passion, efforts, and motivation, that this is going to be a special ride.   

For my LinkedIn and professional network reading this, I am blessed to have leaned on, learned from, and been inspired by you for many years.  John and I are excited to embark on this journey and to be able to foster even deeper and more profound professional relationships with you in the weeks and months ahead.
