The Ghosts of LinkedIn
Who are you ghost?
You are either to lazy or ashamed or philosophically against posting a picture.
Your professional headline states that you are a, "Looking for my next challenge."
What exactly does a "Looking for my next challenge" do? And why should I look to hire you.
So I decided to take a look at your profile.
Lo and Behold, there are two jobs listed with no details. One job as a controller but with no responsibilities, no details on the position, only about the company. Another job as an auditor for an accounting firm. Still nothing about yourself what you did nor what you can offer.
Are you really looking for your next position, because if your profile is an example of your work, I for sure will not hire you!
To all you job seekers out there. LinkedIn is a great place to look for a new position. But, you have to treat us professionally. Our time is valuable. Your profile is your one and only asset on LinkedIn. Complete it with all the boring details. Tell us why you are worth our time to look at your profile. Tell us why it would benefit to connect with you.
Put all the nuts and bolts into place for us and maybe, just maybe, one of us will reach out to you with that next position!
Let me know what you think.

9 年Der Moti, It is a good idea to use Lin profile as much as possible, agree, but this is personal choice. The wording: 'maybe, just maybe, one of us will reach out to you with that next position!' is just a bit off the content, and too strong, say politely.

9 年I think some people are put on Linkedin against their will by their trendy PA's but refuse to complete the profile
