Begin Scene
Phoebe; looking at the clear sky with puffy clouds morning view of nearby Manhattan: “New York City is beautiful today!”
Dana Barrett: “Yes, Phoebe; that’s why I often bring my patients here out here to enjoy the view. I can’t help people by sitting with them in my office all of the time. [points] Seeing the big ‘picture’ allows you to get a sense of perspective about life.”
Phoebe: [points herself] “Pete? … Dana, that’s actor Pete Davison!”
Pete: “Dana? It’s great to see you again! [hugs Dana] I really thank you for helping me heal and grow.”
Dana; partly explaining: “Phoebe, Pete was once a patient of mine… Of course, *I* cannot say why he needed to see me… or – Pete - why Phoebe is with me now.”
Pete: “It’s okay if I speak, right, Dana?”
Dana: “Sure, Pete…”
Pete: “Phoebe, growing up I had a lot of personal issues to deal with. While a lot of kids also do, I had another sort of rare problem…”
Phoebe: “I know what happened - - you lost your your Father when you were young… He was a New York City fire fighter - who died during the attack on America on 9/11/2001 - - - I was sorry when I read about that, Pete.”
Pete: “Yes... Some children have to cope with the loss of their father; I’m not saying that I am less lucky than others are.”
Phoebe: “Pete, I had to deal with my patents divorce when I was the age you were when your Dad died... And, a while ago, my grandfather died.... Sort of like you Father, he was killed ‘in the line of duty’ – trying to protect the public from harm. If that wasn’t bad enough, about a year ago, my family moved from a small town in Oklahoma to the Big Apple… Dana, can I tell Pete more?”
Dana: “Sure, Phoebe; you are ‘allowed’ to disclose anything - IF you want to.”
Phoebe: “Pete, I’m not going to lie; it was – and still is - hard for me... You see, I’m very sensitive; I can ‘feel’ loneliness and pain in people around me.”
Pete: “I’m like that too, Phoebe…”
Phoebe: “Well, [about a year after we got to New York City] I recently ‘met’ a girl about my age... Her name is Kate. Kate Leone... Like me, she also has had trouble coping with growing up.”
Pete: [thinking] “Has Dana met Kate? Maybe Dana can help her too.”
Dana: “Good idea, Pete, but we can’t seem to ‘find’ Kate.”
Phoebe: “For some reason, I’m one of only two people who can talk to Kate… and even I cannot ‘see’ her.”
Pete: [sits down on the ground to match Phoebe’s height = so he does not seem to be "putting pressure" on Phoebe]:
“Understand that, having had Dana help me, I know that she would never ignore, minimize, deny or “explain away” what your personal experience in life is…
[pauses; looks right at Phoebe; talks a bit softer]
… Phoebe, I’m sure that Dana would never ask you this question… so please do not be upset when I ask: Have you considered the possibility that Kate is imaginary? "
Phoebe: “Pete, I understand that, like Dana, you only want to help me, but – yes - I AM upset. I do not have the imagination to ‘dream up’ Kate... Her ‘back story’ includes the fact that, growing up, her life was more difficult than even yours was.”
Pete: “Kate told you this?”
Phoebe: “Yes; as I said, I can talk to her – and she can hear me… I just can’t see - or touch Kate.”
Dana: “Pete, no matter what Kate’s ‘status’ is, Callie - Phoebe’s mom - hopes that I can help Phoebe heal.”
Pete: [gets back up; smiles - and touches her head] “Phoebe, Dana’s the best… Please continue to work with her. She really did help me... eventually.”
Phoebe: “I will… goodbye, Pete; it was an inspiration to meet you.”
Dana: “Yes, our chance meeting seems to have really helped Phoebe. Please keep in touch… I want to book a dinner cruise on your ferry boat - once it is set up for operation.”
Pete: “Sure, Dana... Some people called my ‘vision’ of buying an old ferry boat – to turn it into a dinner cruise ship - ‘imaginary’ too; I’m glad that you encouraged me to pursue my goal, and helped me to make it happen.”
END PART ONE of this SCENE
Dana and Phoebe continue to walk in the park; they find a team of 2 singers about to perform this song [title: “Ghost”] live for a small group of visitors:
Sign taped to the lid of the guitar case: “The Ghost Experts; Amy Cuker, Elliot Wolf and Mark Tomlison”
Ghost - original (2001) song by Mark Erelli; cover by “The Ghost Experts”
Dana: [puts a $5 bill into the open guitar case]: “Amazing performance, Amy, Elliot and Mark!”
Phoebe: “Dana, it sounds like whomever wrote that song has the same issues to deal with as I do!”
Dana: “Good point, Phoebe; Say, we have a bit more time left in our session; let’s sit down and continue to discuss those issues…”

Mckenna Grace To Headline & EP ‘The Bad Seed’ Sequel Greenlighted by Lifetime Which She Co-Wrote
EXCLUSIVE: Lifetime has ordered a sequel to its 2018 original movie The Bad Seed, with Mckenna Grace set to reprise her role as Emma. Grace co-wrote the script with her father, Ross Burge.

Rob Lowe and Grace starred in Lifetime’s The Bad Seed, written by Marshall and directed by Lowe, which reimagined the cult 1956 psychological horror film that was based on the best-selling novel by William March and its stage adaptation by Maxwell Anderson.
In the sequel, Grace plays 15-year-old Emma, a seemingly typical teenaged girl who is anything but that.
Set several years after the murderous events of the first movie which left her father (Lowe) dead, Emma is now living with her aunt Angela and navigating high school. Angela’s husband begins to suspect that Emma may not be as innocent as she appears and suggests sending her off to boarding school. Meanwhile, a new girl at school seems to know Emma’s secrets, leaving Emma no choice but to slip back to her old ways and take care of her enemies by any means necessary.
It would really help me if amazing actress Sigourney Weaver:

Ghost - original song by Mark Erelli - Performed live at Horsham, PA Day in June of 2022 by The Ghost Experts. The Ghost Experts are a musical duo with singer Amy Cuker and guitarist/singer Elliot Wolf.
Ghost; actual song lyrics:
I'm not the kind to believe in superstition…
Lately the truth I have seen is stranger than non-fiction
You race through my blood, some kind of sweet addiction
Heaven help the fool who falls in love
- - - - - -
I sleepwalk the streets of this town looking for your face
Ain't got nothing to show right now, but I can't give up the chase
Won't you show me a sign, some kind of saving grace
You're the only one I'm dreaming of
Can't get you off my mind
- - - - - -
I think that I’m going insane
All these streets look the same
Nobody answers when I call out your name
- - - - - -
CHORUS:
And I… I need you the most
When you're not around
I'm in love with your ghost
You're invisible now
I know that it's wrong
To keep holding on to something that you can't even see… to something you can't even see
- - - - - -
Guess you can already see that my heart is haunted
You are all that I need; everything I've ever wanted
Lost myself somewhere in between, can't you hear me calling
Wish I may, wish I might
First star I chance to see tonight
- - - - - - -
Wish I could disappear right now
Fade into this faceless crowd
'Cause I'm so sick and tired of missing you out loud
- - - - - - -
(REPEAT the CHORUS)…
[Then, sort of spoken]
I'm not the kind to believe in superstition…
