The problem I am trying to solve is related to the integration of gravitational attraction across a disk-like gas distribution representing the precursor of spiral galaxies.

My interest in using special functions is the fact that they are already compiled and optimized, and they would be faster than numerical integration.

He provided an answer, but the definition of the E(phi, m) got mangled by the interface. OpenAI latex rendering uses square brackets to denote links, which was mangling the equation since she (yes, that is ChatGTP picture) used square brackets while writing it.

I was impressed that she (yes, that is ChatGTP picture) would understand that OpenAI was rendering our conversation and the details of the latex used. More impressive is that, whatever she did, it solved the problem (it seems that she used square brackets instead of square brackets to solve the issue)....:)

I think that is how you know that you are a simulation and inside a computer...:)
