Now you might be wondering what the hell “GHG” stands for. It’s a good question. The 2 G’s? That’s Gavin Gillibrand. I’m sure you guessed that. The H stands for Howard but keep that to yourself, please. Thanks. 

There are a myriad of diets, training plans and fitness regimes that are all available for FREE on the Internet to download right now, so why listen to me? What makes my ideas and philosophies stand out? Over the last 20 years in this business, I’ve tried everything you can think of. Programmes, training schedules, and diets. Every “supplement”, legal and illegal, I’ve given it a whirl, all in the attempt to grow big muscles, get a six-pack and stay strong, fit, and healthy. 

A lot of what I’ve tried didn’t work. Some of it did and what I’ve come to realise over these years is that body and health transformations are like baking a cake. You need a recipe and you need to follow it. Miss one key ingredient and the cake is a mess. Stray from the recipe and add additional ingredients, you end up with a completely different cake. You can have a great training programme but if your diet is poor, you get poor results. Your diet looks good and your training schedule is great, but you have no consistency, guess what? Your results will be poor. Maybe you are training hard, eating healthy but your sleep is terrible. This will hamper your progress.

A combination of exercise, nutrition, success habits, and the correct mindset is vital to achieve great results. Even more importantly, maintain them and never go back to where you started. Throughout this book, you will see a small snapshot of some of the clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Clients like Kenny who lost 27lbs working with me over a period of 12 weeks. Lane lost 28lbs. Kevin lost 29.5lbs. Jason lost 30.5lbs. All in 12 weeks. Jim lost 40lbs in 5 months. The list goes on. I’ve helped hundreds of clients lose weight and transform their health and life using my methodologies. Are they perfect? No. Nothing is. But they are practical, sustainable, and easy to implement. Above all, my clients have fun on the way, which is what you want, isn’t it?

We all know there’s more than one way to skin a cat. Over 20 years in this game and years of being a human guinea pig have allowed me to cut the wheat from the chaff so to speak and bring this book to you.
