Consultants often tell me they can’t make more money without getting super overworked - that may be the case for you, too.?
Oftentimes, that’s because the services you offer are time-intensive, so with just a few clients, you can quickly reach capacity.
Other times, you can get really excited about a new potential client, but the client wants to “start with something small” first. The problem, though, is that “something small” can be something that still takes a lot of time, just for less money.

Take my client A, for example.?
Recently she was talking to a client she really wanted to work with. She knew delivering for them could really open doors for her.
The problem was, she’d only previously sold her work based on long retainers. And it became obvious on the call that they needed a quicker win to solve a pressing problem.
Previously she’s steered clear of smaller projects because she worried she might wind up doing too much work for not enough money. And this might distract her from where she wanted to go or undervalue her service.
But in reality, the “Phase One” of her longer retainer service was exactly what this client needed.
So together we crafted an ETSY – Easy To Say Yes offer – that spoke directly to the needs her clients had disclosed on the call.
Here’s what happened ??.
Her clients got the results they needed, and A got her foot in the door and a reputation for delivering value.
