Getting Wisdom

Today's devotional is from A Daily Taste of Proverbs

“For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding” - 2:6.

Wisdom is a gift from God. You can't earn it but you can position yourself to receive it and work to find it. What's more, God is always communicating His wisdom. It's not for a select few but available for any and all who ask and have faith to receive it, as James taught in James 1:5-8 .

Are you seeking God by asking Him questions? Are you listening for Him? Do you expect answers to your problems and questions? Solomon asked for wisdom in 1 Kings 3:5-15 and God gave it to him. Why don't you ask, too?
