A good diet makes you feel good about yourself. Comfort eating is often a fact of life in tough times. And while there are only so many blueberries you can eat, you can create comfort foods from healthy stuff – like avocado on toast or a massive salad nicoise. To keep eating junk food sends a message of self-hatred straight to your inner’ saboteur’ so the relief from pain or discomfort is short lived. One solution is to have no shameful foods in the house until you have established live-action healthy eating as your choice.
