?? Meet Legacy Traditional School - Mesa's Principal: Jermaine Argusta ?? Mr. Argusta brings nearly a decade of experience in education, both as a teacher and an administrator, to his current role as principal. He's previously served as assistant principal for LTS - Phoenix campus and as principal for LTS - Laveen. When it comes to his goals for this role in the upcoming school year, Mr. Argusta wants parents to know that, "I really believe in a collaborative partnership. I believe that we can't do this work alone. I want to work alongside you to ensure we are able to uphold our Legacy mission with you to ensure your child receives a quality education." Mr. Argusta earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy, law and society from University of California Riverside, and his master’s degree in educational administration with principal certification from Grand Canyon University. In his free time, Mr. Argusta enjoys shopping, taking photos, and spending quality time with his family and loved ones. ?? Meet the Principal of LTS - San Tan: Erica Corak ?? Ms. Corak has spent over 10 years of her career with Legacy Traditional Schools serving as a sixth grade teacher, instructional coach and assistant principal for our LTS - North Chandler, LTS - Casa Grande, and LTS - San Tan campuses. As a founding assistant principal at LTS - San Tan, Ms. Corak is dedicated to creating a thriving and positive school environment for our Spurs students, staff and families. We are incredibly grateful to have her continue her career as principal for our campus! Ms. Corak earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northern Arizona University and is currently pursuing her masters in education administration and leadership from NAU as well. We are thrilled to have Ms. Corak leading the San Tan campus in her role as principal. Her many years of commitment to Legacy and her range of experience in various roles make her a perfect fit for this position. We look forward to all the great things to come with her guidance and support of our staff and students!

?? Meet the Principal of LTS - North Chandler: Brett Nauta ?? Mr. Nauta brings more than a decade of experience in education to his role. He started his career with Legacy Traditional Schools in 2011 as a PE teacher at our LTS - Queen Creek campus, where he also served as a member of the leadership committee and was awarded district coach of the year. Mr. Nauta also served as an assistant principal and director of academics for EDUPRIZE Schools before returning to Legacy as principal. Mr. Nauta earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education and health from Grand Valley State University and master’s degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. ?? National Principals Month Feature: Jessica Alanano with LTS - SWLV! ?? Born and raised in the Las Vegas area, Principal Alanano attended University of Nevada-Las Vegas as a proud Rebel. Alanano loves seeing students of all backgrounds thriving as they grow together at LTS - SWLV. When asked about what drives her leadership style, Alanano replied that, "Relationships matter the most. That's important for me that as the principal students really know who I am and are able to speak with me and feel comfortable with me. Also for my teachers to develop those relationships with their students." Outside of work, you can usually find Alanano on the soccer field. She's coached each of her five children over the years, who she's proud to be raising together with her husband of over 20 years. ?? Meet the Principal of Legacy Online Academy: Rachel Bennett ?? Principal Bennett has always wanted to be involved in education, which shows in her passion for getting to know her families and their individual needs. Legacy Traditional Schools has been incredibly fortunate to have her learning with us for over 10 years. In this time, she's served in several teaching and leadership roles, even helping open our LTS - Surprise location. Outside of work, Principal Bennett loves traveling with her family and supporting them in their endeavors. She's recently traveled to support Mr. Bennett's love of Archery at the Paralympics in Paris! When asked about what inspired Principal Bennett to take on the challenge of leading an online campus, she replied, "There's a lot of amazing opportunities with LOA knowing that we have the Legacy foundation but we're able to reach so many more students. I'm excited and proud to be the Principal of LOA and I'm here for your students no matter where you're located." ?? National Principals Month Feature: Nathan LaFon with LTS - Peoria! ?? We're happy to have Principal LaFon and his wealth of educational experience returning for another wonderful year with Legacy. He's previously held teaching positions in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, as well as serving in several other educational leadership roles. When asked what drives LaFon as principal, he replied, "I think the major thing is helping shape the future of our nation and of our world. Students at a school like Legacy, with the foundation that it provides, have the ability to do anything they put their mind to." Outside of school, Principal LaFon enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. They love watching movies, celebrating all things Disney, and spending time outdoors. ?? Get to Know LTS - Chandler's Principal Sperati ?? Mr. Sperati brings more than a decade of experience as an educator and administrator to his principal role. Since joining LTS - Chandler as assistant principal, Mr. Sperati has been focused on getting to know families and building a positive school culture. Prior to joining us at the Chandler campus, Mr. Sperati served as assistant principal at the LTS - East Mesa campus, as well as five years as principal of RCB High School in Phoenix. Mr. Sperati earned his bachelor’s degree in secondary education and social studies from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. He also holds two master’s degrees: one in education from Arizona State University and another in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University. She went on to teach in multiple elementary and middle school grade levels before serving as principal of another charter school district. Principal Laramie has a collaborative and communication-focused leadership style, "I think that we're a partnership.
