Emotional Intelligence (EI)

Humans are emotional beings, and one can never become a leader without first understanding this aspect of human behavior.

#emotionalintelligence (EI) is the ability to perceive, understand, and regulate emotions in oneself and others. This was introduced into formal scientific parlance in the 1990s and was popularized by the publication of Daniel Goleman's best-selling book on the topic, "Emotional Intelligence: Why It Can Matter More Than IQ."

As per Daniel Goleman, EI is the single most important factor for someone's success in the workplace.

I wrote something on this topic, which will give you more insight into this. I highly recommend reading through this book, but if time is a constraint, you should check out the book summary. You can find a summary on YouTube or other platforms.
