Stephen Covey implied we should " Begin with the end in mind". Years later one of life's most obviousisms is equated to something deeply scientific. Whether it is tackling that major project, your exams or cleaning your house we have all felt the pressures of not getting started. Whether you have worked diligently or perhaps not-so-much, productivity is a strategy best left uncomplicated.
Here are 7-not-limited-to-nor-professes-to-me-the-minimum-ways to GET THINGS DONE.
Eat the Elephant Piece by Piece
It seems mammoth at the beginning. But lets be fair! When you break a task into smaller bite size portions , it is not just doable but one can savor those mini-successes easily. Plus not being overwhelmed is a major....plus!
Prioritize
Pareto said it. Mary Poppins said it. For reference purposes : " Anything can happen if you let it". Funny how you can contextualize that quote in so many ways. I digress. The point exactly! I digress again.
Start Planning what you want to achieve, TODAY! Why and what are as important as when. When you are driven by a sense of self actualization it is so much easier to get things done. Things take on a purpose.

Commit with yourself
This is hard but you cannot blame anyone else for the negative choices you may make. You know what to do and when. Excuses means you leave the room of yourself. Huh? It will always be your responsibility to ensure you achieve the best possible results.
Someone might have done it before
I am all for creative endeavor. Yet, chances are someone somewhere has already started the spark to ignite the solution to your unique problem. Learning what is out there can alleviate some of your anxiety too. If not..pat on the back. You are about to do something amazing!
Tackle the Easiest Task
Its human nature to want to challenge yourself. Like fitness , muscle tone is not built in a day. You get moving a lit bit at a time and start on lighter weights. Then you increase the reps. So too, with problem solving and getting things done. Doing the simpler (but relevant) tasks increases your confidence to move onto the less simple/heavier ones.
Self Care
Your mental wellness is essential! Look after you. If getting something important done requires a bit of personal space... SAY NO. Say NO to expectations that infringe on your goals. But say yes to activities that add value to your health and well being. You know..exercise/drink water/sleep.
The Mental Trap
Fear and negativity are life's greatest immobilizers. Your brain is incredible. Trust yourself, take time to plan and its just never too late.
YOU CAN DO IT!
