Getting Started 18 Years Ago: Getting Strong(er)

We issued the following press release this past week, and I wanted to share the pride I feel in having this happen. It's as much HOW it happened as it is THAT it happened. It is a testament to the commitment made by Maggie and I, and every current and previous team member of The ASBC has made to creating insights and opportunities for Industry and Government to do better in achieving important goals and objectives. - Go-To-Guy Timberlake

Collaborative relationships come full circle.

Columbia, MD, June 5, 2024 – The American Small Business Coalition, LLC (The ASBC) is excited to announce Elder Research as its inaugural Premier Sponsor. Through this partnership, Elder Research will continue to increase its position as a leader in providing data science, data strategy and data engineering in support of important federal agency goals and objectives, while contributing to the advancement and expansion of education and training programs supporting the growth of other members of The ASBC.

"I first joined The ASBC in 2006 to get smarter about federal contracting and develop meaningful business relationships," says Elder Research Vice President of Government Analytics and Innovation, Shree Whitaker Taylor, PhD . “Today, in my role at Elder Research, we are excited to partner with The ASBC by sharing lessons learned from our 30 years of helping organizations get more value from their data.”

In January 2023, Elder Research’s Government Analytics and Innovation team participated in The ASBC’s Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors? Bootcamp. “The value of the education and training and the safe place hosted by The ASBC for learning and growing is a big part of why we made the decision to officially partner with The ASBC,” says Dr. Taylor.

One of the team members taking part in the Bootcamp was vice president of growth at Elder Research, Robert Han, who shares, "The Bootcamp was powerful for our team. What The ASBC delivers and how they deliver it is compelling, digestible, and necessary for growth in federal contracting. Guy Timberlake and his team are masters of this topic and provide practical application of the information and skills.”

“By design, Premier Sponsorship is a year-round branding and thought leadership program,” Guy Timberlake , chief executive and co-founder of The ASBC says, "This is a partnership providing sponsors an intentional and targeted boost to their visibility within the federal contracting ecosystem and access to our Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors? branded education, training, and coaching. It allows us an opportunity to empower federal contractors to succeed by increasing their understanding and giving them the confidence to act. It’s what we do best."

Robert Han adds, "The benefits included in the Premier Sponsorship are impressive and will surely be of value to Elder Research as we continue to grow. We hope to add value to The ASBC community by providing thought-leading resources that push organizations forward in our modern data-driven age."

President and co-founder of The ASBC, Margaret Timberlake says, "As a Premier Sponsor, the Elder Research brand, marks, and expertise are integrated across multiple mediums and assets for The ASBC. Additionally, they will take part in exclusive training for their team and will join us October 1, 2024, as a key sponsor of the 2025 Fiscal Year Insight Summit and Bash in Hanover, MD."
