1. Can, you've been a consultant for some time now, across various Awards International programmes. What would you say makes IBXA?? special?

Every event we organise has its own place; in my opinion, each of them is a gem in our "awards crown". But what's special about IBXA is that it offers global recognition across industries, meaning companies and organisations are not limited by the sector they operate in. From customer experience to employee experience, from sustainability and CSR to business and innovation, this programme has various categories to apply for, and showcase achieved results. We also have three "people categories" to honour and recognise individuals and their significant business efforts.

To borrow a term from sports, IBXA is like the playoffs; the best of the best - from all corners of the world, and different industries - join to present their achievements,??network and connect with other finalists, showcase the results, and get recognised. And let's be honest, getting a trophy for your results is fun and exciting. Winners like to win!?

2. How would you describe the shift in business over the previous two years? Are there any significant changes or trends you've noticed communicating closely with entrants??

First of all, we had the pandemic (which is still here), which altered how businesses perceive the market, the relationship with their clients and their employees, how they plan and set goals, and especially - how they plan for unexpected, challenging situations. Everything changed overnight. We all remember how the whole world redefined almost every aspect of business - and life, for that matter. So, the first big trend I notice is how organisations are much more dedicated to improving and perfecting each aspect of business.

?Also, it's pretty noticeable how dedicated companies are, not just to overcome the challenges imposed during the last two and a half years - but also to become way better than before. It's so inspiring to hear their determination to succeed and improve across the board. In addition to the pandemic, we also have an economic crisis today, but I'm amazed at the effort and passion of organisations worldwide. It's a great example of business excellence in practice.

3. What can the entrants expect from this year's programme? What separates this year's edition from the previous ones?

?To begin with, we have an updated and refined set of categories, twenty-five of them, that are divided into five distinct groups. We will also have Business Innovation Talks?, a business session where those who join get to hear from business experts and learn from their insights.

?Last year, we had a record number of entrants, both submitted entries and the number of companies that joined; however, this year, we expect to surpass that number! This means there will be even more networking opportunities, meeting and learning from top business professionals.?And since IBXA has an even stronger presence now, with more awareness in the business community, it's a perfect event for sponsors and partners, for which we have various options available.

?

4. Why would you recommend joining IBXA to companies worldwide? What would be the biggest benefit for them?

?As the very name of the programme suggests,?IBXA offers you business recognition on a global scale. Also, you not get to compete for the accolades - but to meet judges from around the globe. It is a truly international event, connecting business people from various industries. You get to learn from the global practices, find out what's new in other parts of the world - and use those insights to improve your organisation.

Our slogan for this year is "Think Global, Act Local", and it perfectly encapsulates what the programme is about. Our entrants will get a unique opportunity to learn from top business practices - worldwide - study what successful organisations have been doing??(in the open presentations), and create an action plan for their region, country, continent, etc. I like the message we made for this year and that we're connecting top business practices and allowing companies to implement the findings in their communities.

?And since we've consistently been awarded the Outstanding Trust Mark by the Independent Awards Standards Council, this programme guarantees that our scoring is fair and objective, according to the strict criteria, which are the same for all entrants.

?This means that each initiative is scored and assessed objectively, so that you can be truly proud of your achievements. In talking to many of our entrants, I hear how they point out the objective scoring as one of the reasons why they trust us, want to join - and compete for the trophies.

?

5. In wrapping up - do you have a word of advice for those organisations, companies and individuals that still consider joining?

?Before submitting the entry, the most important thing is to pick the category (or categories) that best reflects your initiative. So, my first piece of advice would be this: go through our list of categories, single out those that will help you tell your story, and present your results.

?Also, be sure to use up the full word count in the entry; take your time to describe all the details of your initiative - what the background was, how you started implementing it, stakeholder engagement, what you achieved, etc. The better and more detailed your entry is, the more chance you will be shortlisted.

?Also, if you're uncertain about something, don't fret about it. Get in touch with me and I will help by providing the correct information. For many people, chatting feels more natural and relaxed, so I would encourage anyone who's even remotely considering the awards - to contact me so we can discuss all the details. A free consultation is the least I can do to help your organisation on the journey to worldwide recognition!
