Getting people on board

Getting people on board

How do you go about getting people on board?

How do you convince them to follow?

How do you change their opinions?

How do you change their behaviors?

Do you tell them they are wrong?

Many have tried this and succeeded.

Even more have tried and failed.

Changing the position of a person is hard.

Telling them they are wrong does not work.

I agree Dominik v. Eynern, At the highest level, there must be a shared vision that aligns everyone involved. On a micro level, there should also be a shared sense of values and intent behind the energy exchange. Not everything is meant for everyone, and it’s crucial to ensure that only self-driven individuals are part of this journey from the beginning. Love the conversation Octavian Graf Pilati

Rules of #changemanagement. 1.) Onboarding. Never works if you enforce change, you have to convince the people. At least to try. And explain yourself and the idea. People are instinctively conservative, afraid of change. Die I mention? Forced change almost NEVER works. And definitely NOT a good idea.

It ultimately comes down to the propensity to cooperate which is linked to a shared purpose
