Getting More Exposure From Your Videos

So many people say to me, "Krista, I don't have time to do a video." And I want to say, "I say that's just not true and here's why." People don't realize just how many things that you can get from just one video, so think about this. You record a video. Then you take that video and you create an ad with it on Facebook. Then you take a part of that video and you create an ad for Instagram. You also do a normal post on Facebook, a normal post on Instagram. That's four things so far. Then you take that video and you get it transcribed. Rev.com is an excellent resource for this. Then you take that transcription and you do a long-form post on Facebook, and you can even run at long-form post ad on Facebook. Be sure to add some emojis to that, so that way you'll be able to... It looks more personalized and doesn't look like it's an ad.
Then what else can you do? You can take that transcription and put it on your website. You can take that video and put it on your website as well. You also can take that video and you can put that video onto YouTube. Now, what happens when you do this, when you put videos and the transcription of it onto your website and onto YouTube, you now are going onto Google and you have higher search engine optimization. You can also take that video and you can use utilize a LinkedIn ad or post it on your LinkedIn page. So, so far I think we've got about eight or so different things that you can do from just recording one video. So when people say to me, "Krista, I don't have the time to do a video." What I tell them is that "You don't have the time not to." And it's no longer a matter of should I or I want to or maybe I need to start doing it.
It's an absolute must because when you utilize video, and you do it consistently, and you distribute it correctly so people actually see it, what happens is this, you start to break down barriers. You start to be seen as the authority figure in your space, right? You get people to know you, to like you and trust you so that when you show up and you're trying to get that client and make them become a new customer, what happens is you've already broken down the barriers and your job is much easier. So again, please don't tell me that you don't have the time to do a video. You don't have the time not to. It's an essential must in any business or any profession.
