Getting the Mental Edge

Getting the Mental Edge on Your business....

When would you like to make a 2X, 5X or a 10X shift in your income and lifestyle? Is it 10 years from now, 5 yrs, or 2 yrs?

On a scale of 1 - 10, how do you rate:

1. Your belief in direct sales or MLM?

2. Your belief in your company?

3. Your belief in your product?

4. Your belief in your compensation plan

5. How do I rate myself - that I can do it?

 Get to a 10 in all 5 and you are bullet proof! Question is how do you develop your bullet proof shield?

Let's briefly address mindset as it affects

 Your Attitude - is it worth catching? If not, take a look at it.

 Your Confidence - how you respond to different situations? What kind of people are you attracting?

Your Energy- is it a little or a lot?

Mindset affects your belief and is the stumbling block for most of the people in business. If you are struggling with belief, know that you are not alone.

So the Big Question is - Can I do this? and How to get to the Mental edge?  

People join you and your company because of hope. Belief will keep them there. What can we do to build their belief. Most importantly is what can we do for ourselves?

We must shift from employee to entrepreneur. We are no longer trading time for money. Many people are caught up in doing the job, putting in the time and their belief level will keep them at their current level or less. On a scale of 1 - 10 - how do you rate yourself?

Until the change is made, no change will happen in the business. The moment you make the shift that you are the CEO of a Million $ business-- things will then change and happen. Your choice is to choose and believe!

Your key when talking to people is to build relationships. We get to choose who we want we want to work with. Is that the person that you want to partner with?

You are building an asset - remember that startup cost usually very minimal. When you are looking at building a legacy then you will have a mind shift and your energy is that You have something that every person is looking for.

Remember the most important assets in your business is YOU!  People get started in your business because of you. You are the key, they trust you, they like you and want to be in your space.

Be sure to invest in yourself. The difference between the struggling or average person and the successful people that really stands out in achievers is their investment in themselves.

Protect your environment. Your environment must be conducive to your achievements; that includes your home and home office. Make sure that it has positive surroundings.

Check the 5 people that you spend time with...are they dreamstealers or are they encouragers? On attitude, income, is it positive or negative? If it is draining to be around them, minimize your time spent with them. Guard your time very closely. When you have a full time jobs, you usually can't pick who you work with.

Post positive words in your home! Have a Dream Board. This is very important as it allows you to focus where you are going. The past does not determine your future. It will allow you to breakthrough your preconditioned thought.

What gets you juiced and excited about life? If time & money were of no consequence, no issue, what would you be doing with your life? Where would you go? What charities would you donate to? What education would you provide for your children. If you are generous, it will magnify and allow you to give more.

Another trait that separates achievers from the average is personal growth. Do you have a Personal Growth Plan? Do you work on it every day? You must be intentional on it. Your business is limited by your personal growth

 Jim Rohn said: "with formal education - you make a living. With personal education - you make a fortune." Many people think you are done after your formal education when it is really beginning.

So why do so many people fail to grow and reach their potential? Most times it is the fear of failure. Fear will freeze people up. Nobody likes to fail. But everybody fails! The key is choice - you can disengage and not try, or fail forward. Understand that failing is a process to move forward. There is no failures, there are only outcomes. No matter what I do, there are only results.  Tell yourself continually I am continually getting results! Turn your fear into power and your business systems is the route to get consistent results.

Hockey Hero Wayne Gretzsky said "I missed every shot I didn't take".

Final question on getting the mental edge - What is it costing you by not showing up at a 100% in your business? Remember it is a process. The distance between your dreams and reality is called action!
