Getting to Know Our Atlanta Site

Our Atlanta site is situated in Marietta, Georgia, a suburb 15 miles north of Atlanta. Our presence is spread across three buildings in the Kennestone Corners Business Park, comprising approximately 51,400 square feet of operating space.

Sterility testing is the core focus of our Atlanta site and is a high-volume, exacting process. But with exceptional training, experience, and “WuXi Grit” our colleagues meet the needs of our customers. Sterility testing is used to determine whether manufacturing and terminal sterilization processes have produced a sterile product. The overall methodology uses a variety of microbiological techniques to provide the information a manufacturer requires to release a sterile product to market.

In addition to sterility testing, the Atlanta site offers a variety of testing to support medical device and biopharma manufacturers in evaluating a myriad of elements that contribute to the product assessment process. These additional test offerings include bioburden enumeration and evaluation, bacterial endotoxin testing, antimicrobial/disinfectant efficacy, device cleaning effectiveness, custom studies and sterile packaging testing.

The Atlanta site currently employs 150 people, with over 100 employees working in scientific/technical roles.

Colleagues also work to support one another, creating a welcoming team environment. They make a point of getting together for the holidays, and it is not uncommon for a lunchtime Halloween Costume Contest to break out into a dance party!
