Getting to Know Handy Tech Group: Mary Anne Handy

Mary Anne has been working in various business environments for over 40 years, with an emphasis on customer service and credit and collection. She has always had a hand in Handy Tech, and for the last ten years have been actively involved on a day-to-day basis.

?One reason for joining Handy Tech Group was an opportunity to finish her college education. Working flexible hours, She obtained her BA degree from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2015. Most graduates have their parents attend their ceremony; in her case I had her children.?She honestly believe the support she received from her coworkers, played a big part in getting her degree.

?Her role at Handy Tech is varied. Primarily, she handles the bookkeeping and payroll, but this also involves various HR functions.?In that regard she works closely with Benefit Managers for the 401 plan as well as their accountant in preparing tax filings and monthly reports.?In light of her past experience as Customer Service Manager for a large OEM, She also is “on call” to interface with accounts on quote follow ups and some sales prospecting.?

Providing excellent service to our principals and customers is the primary objective of Handy Tech, and she is glad to be part of such a talented and dedicated group.
