We are now in 2023. I want the opportunity for all of us to be great. It isn't about me. It is about breaking generational curses which have been set in place for black boys to fail. The society has placed invisible shields to stop black boys from excelling in areas that they should be dominating in.
We don't see enough of our black boys in Ivy League. We don't see enough of our black boys in higher education period. This is a problem. We don't have to use statistics. Walk on any campus in the "Ivy League" & you will see the difference.
The mind is a terrible thing to waste. We can't let our black boys continue to be wasted by a society that doesn't want our next generation to be great. As I reflect on my own experience. I have been a witness to black on black crime in every aspect of the expression. In business, in academics, in life, etc. This is the time for a shift. This is the time for a change. As I introduce this topic on the lessons to be shared of how to get into Ivy League & higher education. This is the time for LOVE.
I want you to read this upcoming series as a step by step guide on how to get into higher education as a black boy. This is for you. This is for the family. This is for the next generation of success. This is for the culture. Although I am directly addressing black boys, anyone can read if you are interested!
Please stay tuned on what is to come!

1 年I know I'm not a black boy, but I have one and I'm interested in the series. I know our guys have to learn to be resilient. That is one think I am continuing to learn. There will always be someone trying to incorrectly define you and make you feel as if you don't belong. Yes, it hurts, but you have to learn to press on in spite of.
