Getting an internship: The Troubles I faced

Like every other college student, when I started my college life, I had big dreams.
I wanted to go to an Ivy League University for my MBA, preferably Harvard or Wharton. But, for that, I needed to seriously polish my CV with some good work experience and fabulous grades. So, I set out to find some internships in the field of marketing or sales.
And thus, it began. Spending 4-5 hours everyday searching for internships on websites like internshala.com, freelancer.com and various Facebook and LinkedIn groups. I used to send my resume for almost 10-15 jobs every day, and I hardly ever heard back from more than one.
The ones that did reply back offered very tedious work with usually little to no pay. I did do them for a while though, until their expectations grew so high that I had no option but to quit in order to save my sanity.
If you have had a similar experience looking for internships as a college student, worry not. Look no further. Six Interns is here to solve your problem.
