Getting the fundamentals right remains a priority for asset managers.
As we hit the halfway mark of 2024 and enjoy the summer season, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the key developments and challenges in our sector. Here's some good news, bad news, and better news, along with a glimpse of what we've been up to and what lies ahead:
Good news:?Increased focus on client experience. Northern Trust reports?asset managers are looking for new ways to enhance the investor experience by optimising product offerings and implementing a highly targeted client product mix.?
Bad news: Data quality remains a challenge. Almost three-quarters (72%) stated that enhancing the quality and accuracy of products is their top focus. This is a clear change from the survey conducted in 2022, when quality and accuracy were cited by just 45%.
A recent?Trustquay report?also dives into the escalating problems caused by poor data quality. Alarmingly, 77% of respondents now name it as their primary concern, a stark rise from 44% three years ago.
Better news:?Asset managers continue to make Fundipedia their provider of choice to achieve better data quality and improve their client experience!
