Getting from Point A to Point B

A week ago I attended “Business Not as F*cking Usual” hosted by Stella Gold of My Gold Standard (financial coaching for entrepreneurs). It was a panel of entrepreneurs and coaches on how to do business differently and resist the pull of the status quo (which usually amounts to bro marketing and toxic ideas). One of the panelists (I can't remember which one!) said something that has stuck with me since then:?
We have to build the bridge between where we are and where we want to be.
At first, I was like, “yeah, that totally makes sense; we gotta figure out how to get from point A to point B. ” Then, after a couple of days, I was like, “damn; that sounds like A LOT of work; wtf?!”. Today, I've been ruminating on this thought and I'm feeling like it's really a gift to be unwrapped. It's giving less “I have to” and more “I get to.” It's giving Michelangelo with a block of marble that doesn't yet know it's actually the statue of David (but Michel does). So I'm telling myself to take the perspective of Michelangelo, not the block of marble.?
Will it be (hard) work? Sure; of course. But creative projects always require us to dig in and persist. Your life is the most creative project you will ever work on and you get to decide the who, what, when, where, why, and how of it all. Today (or yesterday) was point A – what's point B and how are you getting there? There may be resources and processes at your disposal from others who have come before you to make the bridge building seem less daunting. But the bridge is still unique to you and not everything that someone else has tried will work for you.?

You are the bridge builder of your life; your power lies in making all the decisions.
Don't give that power away by using someone else's blueprint that may or may not be a good fit for you. Definitely don't give that power away by letting life shape you by just letting it happen to you instead of you shaping the life you really want to live.?
If you're unclear about how to build out that bridge (or overwhelmed because you don't know where to begin), you should get in on the upcoming group coaching sessions I'm offering beginning this week (10/30, 11/9, and 11/17). They're 100%, no-strings-attached free and will give you an opportunity to engineer that blueprint for the bridge that will get you from point A to point B. You can sign up at this link (it’s super quick - just 5 easy questions!).?
Would you also mind sending the link to 2 friends this week who might be interested??
