FIRST TOPIC OVERVIEW
To kick off this newsletter, I’m going to curate a 6 part series titled, GETTING DISCOVERED. Why? Many people are struggling to find new job opportunities, while others have their inboxes overflowing with messages from recruiters. What is the former doing wrong and the latter doing right?
I've identified consistent themes that allow candidates to get found by recruiters & hiring managers and have job opportunities come to them. During this GETTING DISCOVERED series, I'm going to share my learnings with you across the following topics:
Most candidates (over 90%) I encounter could benefit if they implemented these best practices. For example, last year, I spoke with a candidate who struggled to find a job for months. I shared the same advice with him that I will share with you, and to his credit, he implemented all of it. Less than a month later, he messaged me and said he received two job offers!
