Getting Clients From LinkedIn

Getting Clients From LinkedIn

By Eric Louviere

For years now, we have gotten most of our high level clients from the LinkedIn platform and from Sales Navigator. LinkedIn has provided us with a stellar opportunity to network, engage, socialize and ultimately… get new clients!

Of course, you do not want to abuse the system and you must remain inside the parameters LinkedIn spells out for us, yet all signs point to LinkedIn wanting us to engage, drive leads, and use their platform to do business.

Years ago, I had a client ask me to help him find a way to get clients outside of pure advertising. He was growing burned-out from ads, conversions, split testing, tweaking, and even losing money every other month from ads.

He basically said, “Eric, if you can help us find a way to get clients without spending our life away on advertising, you’ll have a client for life!”

Luckily for me, I found his answer through LinkedIn!

What we do is simply connect with and engage with our targeted prospects. We know who our primary, perfect clients are and we know what problem they have! We simply solve ONE problem with ONE main solution for ONE main targeted niche client.

In other words, my advice to you is to not try and be the jack of all trades, or answer to everything while taking every prospect and client you can possibly find, accepting anyone and everyone as a prospect… but to get hyper specific and pick ONE type of client to solve ONE problem for.

For example, with Life Coaches, they often can coach people on everything from weight loss, to parenting, to careers, to happiness and spirituality and everything else you can think of. This causes them to be an expert at nothing. That is hard to make work on LinkedIn or anywhere else for that matter.

With LinkedIn, since we focus on ONE type of client and ONE problem to solve, we simply engage with them and they start chasing us down versus us chasing them down. I guess we are in the right place, at the right time, with the right solution to a specific problem. Got me here?

These prospects see our engagement with them, then see our profile and summary, and then decide to inquire about our solution (or not). We become the HUNTED versus the HUNTER, and it just works better.

All in all, LinkedIn is a flat GOLD MINE for getting TOP SHELF clients and you ought to want to focus on mastering how to work the system here. Doing so will transform your business, lead generation, cash flow and client flow. Go all in, you’ll be very glad you did.

Many Blessings!

I agree and I use LinkedIn for engaging my connections to move the process to clients. Too many people overlook the goldmine in their own hands.? People who already are connected are the 'low - hanging fruit' while others are searching in the tops of trees that are not even in their forest.
