Getting Better Results From Your Content

This weekend I took my daughter to go see Newsies Jr. It was put on by a local theatre company that she used to be an active participant in. This year, she didn't audition for a single show.

It broke my heart, but at the same time I was proud of her for understanding that her anxiety needed to be addressed and she needed a break. When asked, she'd just say, "I'm just taking a break." After the show she admitted she thought she was ready to jump back in and was excited to audition for next seasons shows.

This really got me thinking this weekend about how we, as adults, push ourselves into doing all the things because it's what you do. That hustling is a part of building a strong business. That we can't say no to any opportunity because what if another one doesn't come along.

Ask yourself, is that supporting the longevity of your organization or is it leading to massive burnout? When we listen to ourselves and what truly need we bring out creativity, new solutions and ideas, and most importantly protect our mental health.

The work you do in your community is so incredible and important and we need you around for a long time building and growing your impact!
