Get Your Resume Through The ATS By Discovering Hidden Criteria

Get Your Resume Through The ATS By Discovering Hidden Criteria

Many job seekers customize your resume based on the published job description, to make your resume show that you're a fit for the job.

But there's one big problem with this strategy ...

It only includes some of the actual job criteria, usually less than 50%.

Don't you think you'd get through the ATS and land more interviews by customizing your resume to include all of the criteria?

Because published job descriptions are almost always written by HR, not the hiring manager, and for different purpose than helping you land interviews or offers.

Instead, HR writes job descriptions to protect the employer against HR lawsuits.?

Broad and general job descriptions provide the best legal protection, so most HR departments write them to cover many similar jobs (different departments, locations, even industries), for different hiring managers, each with their own unique needs.

Hiring managers communicate their current needs to recruiters, usually more than 50% different than was written by HR, published on company career sites and job boards. The individual hiring manager's unique needs become the actual search criteria, not what was published.

That means more than half of the actual search criteria are hidden.

Most job seekers miss these hidden criteria.

But if you're willing to find them, don't you think it would give you an advantage over your competitors who just used the published criteria?

That would give you 50%+ more of the actual criteria, giving you a far better chance of describing yourself to hiring managers as the perfect fit. If you like the idea of getting a far better chance than other job seekers, let me show you how.

You can learn how to make these hidden criteria?work for you rather than against you, and I'll show you how during my next free Resume Webinar : Beating The Applicant Tracking System.
