Get Your Interns Integrated with Our Community!
Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance
We strive to be the top economic growth region in the country
Our small businesses are the backbone of our local economy. They can provide jobs, increase quality of life and contribute to the overall economic growth of our region. As great as it can be starting a small business, the venture can come with a lot of risks and little support. However, as an Economic Alliance Member, you gain access to our business resources.
This week, we are going to explore the IgniteICR program. This intern connection program can help your business with workforce attraction and retention by getting your interns engaged with the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids (ICR) community.

Ignite ICR is a program for college students and interns working in the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids (ICR) region. This summer event series gives students the opportunity to meet one another, explore our incredible culture, connect with young professionals, and imagine a future for themselves in ICR.
