Get visible in May
BNI Scotland West
To be the go-to Organisation for Business Referrals in the West of Scotland
This month we are challenging all of our members to get visible!
Consistently showing up in person and online will give you the best chance of securing new clients and growing your business. Your weekly BNI meeting is an important aspect of this, and we are sure your Education Coordinator has told you why it’s so important to come prepared!
But today, we’ve got two other ways you can show up and get noticed. Keep reading to find out about LinkedIn Local Ayrshire and how you can assess your visual brand identity…
Does your brand need a re-fresh?
When was the last time you considered how you are presenting yourself online? Having a strong visual brand identity is vital for securing new clients.
You might think that your out-of-date, blurry LinkedIn profile picture is ‘just fine’, but it could be making you look less professional than your competitors. Or perhaps your social media isn’t getting the traction you had hoped for; it could be that your visual brand just isn’t strong enough.
Victoria Rose, founder of Flaunt and Flourish Photography and member of our Abbey Chapter, is here to help you figure it all out. Victoria has created a free Brand Identity Checkup webinar, designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of your current brand identity.
Develop your understanding of how to define and assess your brand's visual identity, presentation, emotional appeal and relevance in the market.
Star Networker - Wendy Harris
Meet this month's star networker, Wendy Harris, Chief Conversation Officer at Konpasu. Wendy has consistently placed in the top 10 in traffic lights for the past few months thanks to all the work she does to connect business owners, and to help others grow.
Last year Wendy launched LinkedIn Local for Ayrshire, a free* monthly event held at The Potting Shed, Irvine every 3rd Thursday. Wendy’s goal is to build a thriving local community in Ayrshire by bringing online connections into the real world. The first meeting was much busier than Wendy could have anticipated and it has become a hugely popular networking opportunity for the business owners of Ayrshire. Check out this awesome video taken at a recent event.
The next event will take place on the 16th of May - get yourself along! * Every meeting is free to attend, but Wendy asks that you show your support of the venue by purchasing a coffee and cake. Mandatory cake? Sign us up!
