Get up. Dust yourself. Get moving...

Get up. Dust yourself. Get moving...

As an entrepreneur, I know about failure. I’ve made mistakes, pretty stupid ones. At the same time, though, I’ve been fortunate enough to succeed a few times, too.

Along the way, I’ve been able to understand some of the lesser-known reasons that some startups fail, and more importantly why a few succeed.

First, what might be the key reasons to fail -

  • Market Problems
  • Business Model Failure
  • Running out of Cash
  • Product Problems
  • Issues in customer acquisition and retentions.

                                        OR

  • Is it you, as an entrepreneur failing to evolve???

Startups are far more likely to succeed when their founders understand, admit and compensate for their personal limitations. Don't worry about an outcome you couldn't control. Treasure the experience, and use it to get a head start next time for a new beginning.

It's okay to fail - provided your failure has given you more strength and learning, to raise above the odds and move forward!!!

Failure teaches you that you do not have the right to take success for granted. It teaches you that your assumptions and your beliefs may not always be right and that you should validate them. It teaches you the value of being frugal, and that being resource starved actually could lead to more innovation & creativity. It teaches you that planning is important, and failing to plan is planning to fail. Failure makes you stronger. It gives you the confidence to face bigger challenges than you previous had. Failure can teach you a lot if you introspect and think about what went wrong, and make an attempt to do things differently when you embark on the journey again.

The sun will always rise tomorrow and so will you…
