Get A Sense of Your Workplace Culture

Culture sensing is an effective method of understanding your workplace culture, fostering employee engagement, and identifying areas for improvement.

Recently, our team conducted a Climate and Culture Sensing Diagnostic Study at ABG Chemicals. The Study aimed to identify the key challenges at the plant, analyse opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights to improve the operational functioning, community relations, and safety culture.

Here are three tips to start:

  1. Set up suggestion boxes or digital platforms where employees can share their thoughts.
  2. Organise Focused Group Discussions (FGDs) with external consultants.
  3. Hire DEI experts to review organisational data like attrition rates and absenteeism.

To conduct the ethnographic study at ABG Chemicals, our team conducted several FGDs and one-on-one interviews, with the leadership team, section heads, department heads, operational staff, and external stakeholders.

Hear from the experts

Leadership is inherently gender-neutral, yet the path to leadership is not always equitable. In the video below, Lakshmi Sreenivasan, Founder & Service Delivery Lead - DEI, The Outcast Collective, explains why women’s leadership programs are essential for addressing the systemic barriers and societal expectations that often hold women back in their professions.

What have we been up to?

TOC at GCPL

The Outcast Collective conducted several in-person PoSH workshops for the blue-collar and white-collar employees of Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL). The workshops focused on anti-sexual harassment policy, redressal mechanisms, and gender sensitisation.
