I had the distinct pleasure of hosting NTMA’s very own Roger Atkins on the show—a guest who’s as dynamic as they come. Roger is one of those rare industry voices who can dive into so many facets of manufacturing that it’s nearly impossible not to follow him down a few rabbit holes.

We’ll definitely need to have him back for a deeper dive, but for this episode, we managed to keep the conversation focused on the premise and purpose of NTMA and its network of over 1,200 member companies.

Naturally, we couldn’t avoid the ever-present challenge of workforce development—especially given the current talent shortage that’s keeping industry leaders up at night.

But it’s not all doom and gloom. Roger shared some of NTMA’s successes and painted an optimistic picture of the future for the American manufacturing sector.
