●Get ready for the legal battle of two Tory Scums

Andrew Bridgen, antiwaxer Tory MP, has announced that he is taking legal action against fellow Tory Matt Hancock over a tweet the former health secretary posted responding to Bridgen's own notorious remarks on Covid vaccines and the Holocaust.

"By inclusion of the phrases 'antisemitic', 'antiwax', 'antiscientific' and 'conspiracy theories, the words are defamatory at common law," wrote Bridgen of Hancock's response. Bridgen called on him to "retract and delete the defamatory statement contained in the tweet complained of with immediate effect." and asked for fucking £100.000 in libel damage.

Yet, it is hard to see what could be possible defamatory of Bridgen's reputation, given the events of the past nine months. Identified as "dishonest" by a judge last summer in dealings with his own family, at the start of this year (prior to losing the party whip for his Holocaust tweet) Bridgen was suspended from the Commons for five days for having broken rules on paid lobbying on multiple occasions and in multiple ways. Who will win in court? I don't fuckin care, both are tory scums. I will just get my popcorn ready.
