The groundbreaking BioOra cancer therapy project is not just a win for our economy, it has the potential to save 250 lives annually?and bring in $250M annually, it’s set to transform healthcare for generations. ??

Our Gateway Antarctica programme is also thriving, with the Antarctic Gateway’s value up nearly 13% since 2022. This initiative supports 3,300 high-value jobs in Christchurch and Canterbury. ??

Christchurch’s screen sector has seen impressive returns, with the $1.5M production grant creating over $14M in local spend, while showcasing the capabilities of our region. ??

The Christchurch Engine Centre is expanding by $250M, positioning our city as a global aerospace hub and adding 200 high-value jobs to the economy. ??

And of course, the revitalisation of New Brighton and other urban areas continues to demonstrate the power of public-private collaboration to transform communities. ??
