?? In 2020, while preparing for my final medical school exams COVID struck
It was a couple of weeks to the exam
We thought it would just come and go, little did we know that the world would change forever as we know it
??I spent that year at home, uncertain of when and if I'd get to write my final exams.
Just one more exam to graduation and boom an extra year and so instead of 2020, I'd eventually graduate in 2021
??But here's what happened in 2020. I started a second business. I started making money online.
My first course was N1500, then N5000. I was a Canva designer at a point and I'd get projects for clients and charge N15,000, N7000 each, and more.
?? But let's go back a bit. In 2020 - 2021, while trying to sell my course, I got so frustrated that I took every and any email marketing and copywriting training
I spent money, lost some, gained some.
As I learnt I shared what I was learning and then one day, someone said, what will it cost for you to do our email automation?
??I didn't see it coming, I wasn't offering it as a service. I was still calling myself a Canva Coach and Digital Products Creator
But that one question kickstarted my email marketing journey into a service.
In growing to where I am today, I made mistakes I could have avoided, made some unnecessary investments, and spent a lot of time.
